Between the word (language) and the dream (imagination), there is the image, the character, and the atmosphere that we call illustration. The illustrations are echoes of novels, accumulated and vivid memories of stories and songs. Interpretation of the text – an imprint- that has been left, conveying the experiences of the atmosphere, read and felt.
Emphasizing the spontaneity, the drawing – a touch on the surface – is most important, visceral, instinctive – a moment when the inner world begins to unroll.
